On June 6, 2026 at 1pm MST / 2pm CST / 3pm EST, Dr. Khalil Andani will present a commentary on the recent Farmans of Mawlana Hazar Imam made in Eastern Canada. He will focus on the ideas of Tawhid (unity of God), Intellect, Free Will, and Imamology in connection with the Ismaili intellectual tradition of philosophy and theology.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Khalil Andani is the Co-Founder of Ismaili Gnosis. He is a tenured Associate Professor of Religion at Augustana College and an Ismaili Muslim philosopher of religion. He specializes in the study of Islamic philosophy and theology and Ismaili history and thought. He has published extensively in various Islamic studies journals and books including IIS publications and regularly speaks at academic conferences. Dr. Andani holds a Ph.D. and two Masters degrees in Islamic Studies from Harvard University.
